Who holds each office in Australian government.

Federation Tracker maps each government in the federation as a graph: the bodies that make it up, the offices within them, and the people who hold those offices today.

Governments

Each government gets its own graph at its own address. They're built one at a time, starting with the Commonwealth.

What each graph contains

Every graph uses the same four building blocks, so a Treasurer in Canberra and a Treasurer in Melbourne can be compared like for like.

Bodies: Parliaments and chambers, departments, courts and independent agencies.
Offices: The roles within them, such as Treasurer, Chief Justice or Department Secretary.
People: Whoever holds each office right now, with a short note on when and how they got there.
Relationships: Who holds, heads, appoints, administers or answers to whom, as set out in law and convention.
